Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone read this book and/or following this Apostolate.
It has been suggested, I ordered it and have it now but am wondering if anyone else has read it?

Thanks,
StacyLynn

Hi StacyLynn,

I remember posing the same question on this thread.

Blessings,

I have spoken extensively with a Mariologist, who greatly esteems this book and promotes it. He knows the women and has assured me, in his professional opinion it is sound.

FWIW!!!!!

I've read the book, and found it to be a treasure of spiritual and practical insights and advice. I pull it out every time I start to get overwhelmed with the "daily duties."

HTH!

I happen to be reading this now. I consider this such a coincidence as it was first published I think in 1988. I just found it this month on my Aunt's bookshelf and asked about it. She came across it years ago and sent it to all of my cousins who were mothers then. I was still in college so it wouldn't have been relevant.

The incredible thing is that my aunt has been studying the Divine Will as revealed through Bl. Luisa Piccaretta for the past 10 years. More recently she has introduced me to a series of small books called "Direction For Our Times", also promoting the practice of Divine Will by offering our days to Our Lord. The second basic principle in "The Apostolate of Holy Motherhood" is a "pursuit of the Divine Will in their lives".

So far, I'm enjoying the book and sometimes have to put it down in order to think about how I can apply the principles or correct my actions.

I read that book about 5 years ago and it was life changing. I then lent it to my sil and haven't seen it since . It would probably be good to re-read at this point in my life.

I would love to get another copy of this. Mine arrived anonymously on my doorstep many years ago - maybe 14? Just a few years ago someone borrowed it, and now it's gone forever.

Any suggestions for getting one? I tried Cathswap, but only once, w/o success.
