I've been coming across some projects to do with beeswax. I just found a local supplier who sells honey and beeswax, so I'm excited to use it a bit more.
I'm going to see if the beeswax is a good clean quality to use for my pysanky eggs, which we need to start doing soon around here. Just kicking myself into gear after a long illness.
Homemade Beeswax fabric food wrap
Homemade Beeswax Birthday Candles from Ginny at Small Things.
Beeswax Votive Candles from Ruth
Ruth has a few more, like lip balm
Also an old thread for Beeswax Polish.
Have anything else?

This past Fall, we had friends over and dipped leaves in beeswax. They were so pretty. I never got around to making a garland, which looks so lovely in pictures I've seen, but my oldest made a wreath and my 6 year old glued some to a picture frame.
Ginny at Small Things has a post about this as well Fall Beeswax Fun.

Jenn if you show this thread to my 11 yo ds I will never talk to you again! Just Kidding! For years my ds has been BEGGING to use beeswax to make candles. In fact, just yesterday, he chased me around whole foods with a brick size piece of beeswax form BigDipper candles and begged me to get it!
I would really love to indulge him....I just can't add any more messy activities into my home....especially where I need to do any research first. But....just maybe....i will have to cave after Easter!

Betsy, I had the brick of beeswax in my house for three years before I FINALLY used some for a project. My boys had really given up hope at that point I'd even bought a cheap double boiler at goodwill specifically for this purchase, and I STILL have candle wicks lost in my craft supplies that I've never used.
I was glad to have it on hand, though, so that I could impulsively decide that would make a nice activity when friends came to visit.

Lindsay,
I am glad that I know I am not alone! Maybe I will get him this for his Easter basket.

I was just eyeing a tea-light project yesterday on Pinterest. all you need are muffin tins and bobby pins!! So cute!
I still have bulk beeswax from years ago when I got a kit that was on sale at Hearthsong. But I've put it off because it's for dipped candles and we haven't really felt like making dipped candles.

I know what you mean about the dipped candles. For me it's hard enough coming up with the tools for melting and pouring the wax, and then to find tall enough containers for dipping candles...and then to deal with the mess?
This Martha Stewart Teacup Lights is one of my favorite projects. Probably because I have quite a few old teacups that could easily be utilized. I had vintage teapots and teacups for my wedding centerpieces.

That Martha Stewart project is the reason I bought the block of beeswax, lol. I still haven't done it.
I want to be a thrifter, really, but then you have to actually GO to the store with some regularity to find things, and I'm not very good at leaving my house!

LOVE the beeswax ideas. I had never seen the homemade food wrap ideas - so cool. All over that one.
We have made Christmas ornaments in the past. They are really lovely and have such a nice subtle fragrance. Just now thinking how fitting it would be to make Easter ones as well - considering the praise of bees in the Easter vigil (restored in new translation - yay!) it ties in so well with the season. Then you could hang them on a branch (newly sprouting? ) as a centerpiece. The shapes could be eggs, bunnies, flowers/lilies, crosses, butterflies.
I have the tutorial on O Night Divine.
Also, beeswax lotion bars are heavenly. There are lots of diy recipes.

How do you make lotion bars? None of your beeswax!

I like this idea! Egg shaped beeswax ornaments!
They could also do double duty and be used for pysanky when you're done.
