Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What toys do you keep that your kids outgrow. For example: my dd's american girl dolls, legos and brio trains I decided to keep. I am moving and it is tempting to donate them - but then I think these are classic toys that are great to keep around. My youngest is only9 but never really was into the legos - but you never know. The wooden train set - well maybe someday I will be the "cool" grandma with the trains and dolls (someday being YEARS away).

Tell me I'm not the only one keeping toys like this!

You are not alone!

I was and am very particular about the kind of toys that enter our home and most of them are very durable, classic and of high quality. I am definitely preparing for grandmotherhood and or other dear little guests whom I can spoil with lovely playtime treasures.

I keep toys too, especially the ones that were the favorite to play with daddy, or that are just too cute. I did donate a toy that I just loved, thought was so cute, no child had played with it.ever. I guess I was the only one. I realized I did need to let go of that one...that it really wasn't totally about me
