Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi ladies, can anyone recommend a good Catholic calendar? I have seen many online but I can't really see how much space is allowed to record all our appointments, activities, commitments, etc. I love plenty of space per day as some of our days are quite busy. I have just been buying ours at the office supply store, but would love one Catholic one with all the feast days listed. Any ideas?

Are you looking for one to hang? The best I've found that give plenty of space but has all the feast days is Liturgy Training Publications. Until Michele starts making her custom ones....

OH, yes, one to hang on our wall. I love the one you recommended Jennifer, but it is sold out..I'm a little behind on this as usual. I do love those planners that you suggested Theresa, but I need on to hang. Thanks, I'll have to keep looking

The TAN books and Publishers Calendars are absolutely lovely, have a good sized space for writing, and they have an added bonus of listing both traditional/historical and current feast days. I got this calendar as a gift last year, and was thrilled with it. It is my new favorite calendar.

If you scroll down to see "Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed" ... You will see the other two versions they offer, "2012 Feast Days and Devotions of Our Lord Catholic Wall Calendar" and "2012 Angels Catholic Wall Calendar". You can also find these at TAN, of course, I just used this link as it was easier to distinguish the right calendars from the other ones offered on this page.

Hope this helps!

P.S. I measured the squares for each day, and they measure 1 5/8" x 2 ". Some days have a little less room depending on how much text there is listing the feast for the day. The squares are definitely bigger than the squares on the calendar we get from our parish and other ones we've had.

This is my planning calendar, and has been for years. (I use the large planner and love it!) It lives on my desk and has plenty of room for writing and adding appointments, to-do lists, menus, etc.

We have one other Catholic calendar in the house - from Saints Galore. We enjoy following both the old (1962 liturgical calendar used in the Extraordinary form of the Mass {Latin Mass}) and the new liturgical calendar (used in the Novus Ordo) and this calendar from Saints Galore includes both which makes it very useful for us! I love the traditional Catholic images used on the calendar.

As an aside, I that Michele's Family Centered Press calendar/planners now incorporate both the new and old liturgical calendars as well! SO useful!!!

This explains more what I meant is included in the TAN calendar, as well. They have the saints listed for the calendar followed by the EF and the OF, as well.

My Mom had the calendar from Saints Galore, and she liked it, too.

You're welcome! I really do like this calendar so very much. There was an awesome picture last month of Mary being taken to the temple as a young child, which I had never seen before, it was just beautiful, and you could see so much of the event and the thoughts of the people, etc. The artwork is lovely, and like you I like some space for writing in events, appts., etc.
