Over the weekend, we purchased our first pressure cooker. We used it tonight to can green beans from the garden. Even though I've never done this before, I know something went wrong.

When we took the jars out of the cooker, the first thing we noticed was all the water IN the jars was gone.

DH thinks maybe he didn't close them tight enough even though the instructions discouraged that.

Do you think that's why the water was gone?

The jars DID seal! What are your thoughts? DH says to cook them again. I don't think theyare any good without water.    This is a first experience for us.

What do yah think? Start again? Eat green beans all week because it didn't really work?
