Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have been unpacking all these baby clothes for a yard sale and they have yellow stains on them . I don't remember them looking like that when I packed them... (although that "baby" is turning 4 on Monday ). They are just too adorable to throw away! Does anyone have any idea how to get the stains out? I'm guessing they are spit up stains because my nursing gown and robe have them, too.

I like Zout as a stain remover.. and I've heard that soaking in oxyclean does wonders for baby clothes stains.

What do you think about Borax? I have some of that on hand, but if not I'll go out tomorrow and get one of those that you mentioned.

borax helps depending on your water.. I think it's one of the things that softens hard water and so using it can really help your clothes get clean and not be dingy.. but it may not take out stains and it may not help much if at all if you don't have hard water.

I use Oxyclean and it gets out almost anything! Sometimes it takes a few washes (spray, wash, spray, wash, etc). I have even gotten stuff out after I ahve put it through the dryer a few times.
