In our co-op basket we received a mystery. It is a root vegetable that looks a lot like ginger but it isn't as flat...more round. It isn't one big sphere, like a turnip, but again, more like ginger with several little sphere branches off the main sphere root. The exterior has brown striping, again like ginger. BUT...it has no smell or flavor worth mentioning. The interior is creamy white - almost white potato like. Can you tell I went from ELATED to have GINGER to...WHAT?
