Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I was just getting ready to make some chicken nuggets and thought I might try this to mix in with the coating. Then I thought I remembered reading somewhere about not heating flax above a certain point? Do any of you ladies know anything about that?

that sounds right.. you can put it in baked goods but I don't think you're supposed to cook it hot.. I do know that high heat cooking detroys the good component of oils.. so while you won't be harmed by it, and you still have the fiber benefit.. you won't have the benefits of the good oils.

Thanks Jodie! I left it out this time just in case, and also because I was switching up the flour from white to stone ground wheat. Oh, and I also read on the package that if you're short an egg in baked good you can use some ground flax and water... wish I had known that last week
