Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm Not sure if this is the right area to post... Sorry if it isn't

anyway- has anyone ever sold their cloth diapers and if so, where? The only place I have heard of is diaperswappers but it looks like it moved way too quickly! If there is another option I would like to try that. I need to get rid of the diapers that are not working for us and buy more that are working! I thought I'd like fitted but I don't at all!

Thanks in advance!

I sold all of mine locally to friends. You could take them to an LLL meeting, and try there.

I never sold mine. The lady who sells nappies/diapers, collects unwanted/outgrown/not working for the family nappies and sends them in packages for disaster relief. Locally it is the Round Table who collect them - they send nappies, cooking utensils, tools, sewing kits etc in a big plastic tub that can be used for water storage, and they go to areas hit by floods etc. The mamas are in desperate need for washable nappies for their little ones. Maybe you have a similar scheme locally?

I have sold them on EBay before with good luck. And they brought more than I paid for them.

I wish I could just give them away, but I really need the money to buy more.
I don't think eBay allows used cloth diapers anymore

didn't think of craigslist

maybe I'll try diaperswappers

Thanks!

Sorry didn't mean to imply you had to give them away. I didn't know you could give them to charity and was glad to find out we could. Personally I had so much hassle trying to sell some that giving them away was the best choice for us and it helped to pass on the favour we had been done when people passed their old nappies onto us. Do you have local nappicino meetings? Where CD'ing mamas meet up and sell/swap/buy nappies/diapers? That works locally to me, much better than online selling.

I have sold on Diaperswappers and on Hyenacart on Spot's Corner. Just Mommies also has a nice cloth diaper forum and you can sell diapers there too.

I just checked, and eBay allows used cloth diapers. They just have to be clearly labeled as "used"

I sold some diapers on craigslist. It seemed easier than diaperswappers. Hope you can sell quickly!

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions!

I wish we had nappicinno meetings! Sounds heavenly! I wish someone would come up with a paperback swap type of cloth diaper exchange!

Happy to see eBay changed their policy. I have never sold anything before but it would be worth a try!

When you sell something on craigslist do you let them come to your home or meet them somewhere? I'm sure most mommies buying diapers would be fine but you never know if you are going to have some adult diaper fetish person show up

When I sell on craiglist, I meet in the parking lot of the grocery store. My dh said we may not give out our home address.

I delivered to the person's house on the one occasion when I sold the diapers. Otherwise, a particular store/parking lot is a good idea. I wouldn't give out my address either, just my general area for planning purposes.

You could advertise them at your local health food co-op/store?
