Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Based on which kitchen items you use daily we could all have our own unique 'essentials' list.

What do you use daily?

I would list:
Cutting Board, Knives, Food Processor, Very Large Stainless Steel bowl, Juicer, Large Pyrex Trays,

I'm sure I'm forgetting something but would love a peek into your kitchens.

Almost daily would be my rice cooker and set of casseroles.

Medium-sized pots, knives and cutting boards, bread board, toaster oven (for kids), colander or equivalent, hot pads (and here's a plug for the Ove-Glove, which rocks), cookbooks, slow cooker (at least five days per week - really!), measuring cups.

As my dd and I heated up various leftovers for lunch yesterday she said "what would we do without the microwave?!" It actually made me feel guilty about how much we use it for defrosting or heating up things.

Other than that I use items that have already been mentioned:
Cast iron skillet (After I wash it I put it right back on the stove instead of putting it away.)

Knives and cutting board

Blender for morning smoothies

Soup or stock pot

Hot pads or oven mitts

LOTS of kitchen towels (My kids tend to grab a clean one every time they need a towel)

Coffee maker

Similar list to everyone else...

large, medium, and small cutting boards

Cutco chef's knife and paring knife

small skillet for eggs in the morning (stainless)

a hard to explain slant-sided stainless steel pot that seems to be the right size for everything And/or large stainless skillet

coffee maker

electric kettle

dishwasher/microwave (trying to minimize the microwave)

kitchen shears

short-handled wooden paddle

metal grater

water/ice dispenser on the fridge

metal colander

measuring cups

often used: pyrex casseroles, stainless lasagna pan, set of red hard plastic mixing bowls, two burner grill/griddle pan

I'd use my vitamix daily, but I need to send it off to have the motor repaired.

I would use similar items

breadboard and cutting boards
Knifes
Coffee machine
Metal cooking spoon and spatula
Oven dishes
Kitchen scissors
Dishwasher / microwave / oven
pyrex dishes
kettle
corkmats for hot food
We don't have a toaster- we use the grill. We have had several toasters and for some reason they stop working,
I think thats about my list, but its not exhaustive
