It's wonderful, Mary! Such a beautiful design, and it looks like it's so comfortable to wear, too. I love the cable effects and the dropped shoulders. If I had time to knit (and could remember how) I would make it in a dusty teal...so pretty with the leather-covered buttons...

Gorgeous, Mary! I really love the design!
Now I REALLY want to learn how to knit...I know the very basics and how to crochet..but I have always wanted to make sweaters for myself. sigh! Maybe when the little ones are older and won't unravel what I have done...like little kittens?

Mary, that is gorgeous!! I love your work, and look forward to the day when my knitting time increases and I can work some of your patterns. I love the short sleeve sweater that was the pastel on Knit Picks..you are a terrific designer.....did you start knitting super early and often, or were you late to the scene? (like me)

When I was younger, I crocheted more than knitted as my brothers were ALWAYS pulling the knitting needles out while I knitted as they thought that was hilarous! A crochet hook was less of a temptation ....
Once I discovered circular needles (and especially if you're knitting a pullover -- so a complete circle) it was harder for them to pull out and it was all straight knitting!
