Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone have a good (cheap!) source for wheat flour?

Thanks!

Local food co-ops, Amish stores or bulk healthfood stores. At our local Amish store it's about 40% more than the price of white or unbleached, but still half the price of five pound bags in the grocery store. Last time I checked (earlier this year) it was running about $25 for a 50 lb. bag, compared to around $15 for a 50 lb. bag of unbleached bread flour. When you compare that to anywhere from $3 to $5 for a 5 lb. bag at most grocery stores, that's pretty good. At the same Amish store they also sell smaller bags; 10 pounds runs around $5.
