Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ladies I am thinking I might like to try my hand at sewing a summer time dress for myself . I will be alone with just ds9 most of the summer months and thinking it'll be fairly quite I might have some time to sew
so styles I like dresses that button down the front a little collar not to long in length as I'm a shorty but something maybe 3-4 in below the knee nothing above knee once I hit 45 little summer dresses no longer suit me I love floral prints so a pattern which would suit that .
So where does one find such a pattern ?
ok next thing last resort is if I can't make a dress is there a place to buy this type of style dress .
   Looking forward to your input
Thanks , Rox

This may be a good place to start:

Simplicity Dress Patterns

My daughter and I have been learning to sew and we have done well with the Simplicity patterns.

Here are three options I found. Keep in mind that if you are short these "knee length" options will probably hit a few inches below. The hardest part about these patterns seems to be the buttonholes!
