On a thread about dresses for my girls, someone recommended buying blank dresses from Dharma and dying them. This seems like a fabulous idea, but I am a little intimidated by the thought! I am not the most domestic or artistic woman.

Can those of you who have done this share your knowledge, experience, lessons learned, etc? What to buy, how much to buy, and so on?

You best bet is to actually ask at Dharma as they are experts at dying and VERY helpful (and friendly). They will help you figure out exactly what you need based on what it is you want to dye.

You don't have to do much asking.. tub-dyeing is what you do to make an item all one color and they have tons of info right there for you to read.

And if you need to contact them.. you can do so via email most likely.. take longer but you don't have to actually speak to someone.
