Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Our parish served fried chicken at our All Saints Party and now my children all have chicken grease on their clothing from wiping their fingers there (and not on their napkins!). My regular detergent did not get out the grease and now the clothes are stained. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Christine

I use dish soap to remove grease stains on clothing.

Oh, I was just worried about the safety of de-greasers on clothing. I think I'll see what I have on hand. THANKS!

God bless,
Christine

yeah, and some are pretty harsh.. but dishsoap or 409 or pinesol (is that a degreaser?) I've used all of those on clothes with no problems.

We always use hair shampoo on grease stains-- I've always had success!
