Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

not sure if this is the right forum..

I was going to say for breakfast or lunch, but I usually only eat a brunch.. which sounds fancy considering that today it was:

my second cup of cinnimon & spice dunkin donuts coffee
1/4 can of guacamole pringles chips
half a slice of raw sugar cookie dough
and a big bowl of golden puff cereal

Anyone else?

ummm, I've had a cup of coffee and I'm chewing a piece of gum.

I need to get something in my tummy, but I keep forgetting!! Off to scramble some eggs...

Coffee, cuban bread with more coffee, Prilosec, and Advil. Then I had some coffee.

Breakfast:
Bowl of Rice Chex
Homemade lemon bar and decaf black tea
Plain yogurt with frozen fruit

Lunch:
Another bowl of Rice Chex
Leftover mac and cheese
A cup of hot cocoa
Another cup of decaf tea

Not exactly balanced meals! I'm pregnant and finally not in all-day nausea mode. That's my excuse!

You know, Theresa, I tend to start my days with the winning combination of prilosec and coffee also. Then I wonder: does the coffee make me need the prilosec? Just one of those nagging thoughts that I try to ignore....

Peace,
Nancy

breakfast: coffee, granola with milk
handful of trail mix in van-after taking dd to college, then more coffee
lunch/afternoon snack-grilled cheese
handful of trail mix while on a bank run, yet another while dashing to the store for dinner ingredients.
more coffee!
God bless,

breakfast: pumpkin pie, 1 cup of green tea, 3 cups of coffee
lunch: large Chik-fil-a fry and grilled chicken salad
and a dr. pepper

Great eating day, huh? It was comforting since I seem to be getting a sinus infection or wicked allergies.

Yes. And the irony is not lost on me either. But doesn't everyone need a good dose of irony in the morning to start the day off right?

Courtney, pumpkin pie for breakfast sounds really good right now.. and easy since it's only after the pies are already made that we can have them for breakfast.

Alas and alack no pumpkin pie is made.. so I'm off to figure out breakfast.

And I like getting a cup of hot chocolate in the mornings.. but it's filling enough that I find it interfers with breakfast

I added a bowl of leftover oatmeal, leftover eggwhites from yesterday's lemon curd, and modified our waffle recipe to make oatmeal waffles. They were pretty good. Our waffle maker is barnyard animals.

I ate a barn with maple syrup and a cup of coffee.

Taken out of context that sounds soooo wrong, but still funny.

Well, the barn IS the biggest waffle of the four.

PB on whole wheat, with an apple, plus hot tea. Lunch hasn't happened yet...
