Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Beef bourgignone tonight. (plus any leftovers) and I'll prepare the cold poached chicken with tuna sauce for tomorrow, so I don't have to cook!

Right now, leftovers for lunch.

I have a dentist appointment this afternoon, so dinner needs to be something my hubby can prepare while he's home watching the children: leftover meatloaf, this time with baked potatoes, corn, and salad.

I was inspired by Andrea's plans yesterday...so I'm making a meatloaf, potatoes baked with herbs and roasted in olive oil, and pan fried green beans in garlic and onions...and sweet tea.

We moved into our new neighborhood in New Jersey last Wednesday and the takeout here is so cheap and so plentiful and so varied (and just minutes away on foot) that I have actually not cooked yet. There aren't many meals I can make as cheaply as we could buy them already made here. It's amazing. That said, tonight I'm making pasta with Italian sausage, spinach, diced tomatoes and fresh mozzarella.

Have you been watching Julie and Julia? I went with a girlfriend (and the baby) on Tuesday night, and it was just great!

Polish kielbasa and peppers, red and white potato salad, and dipped marshmallows in honor of our Kolbe's name day.

Homemade corn tortillas with ground turkey filling, cheese, salsa, avocado, sour cream, etc. We missed "Tortilla Tuesday", to my son's dismay, so we're making up for it with Tortilla Thursday.

Kayleigh and I want to go see this too so I'm always excited to see good reviews.

Pasta here too. Chicken and brocoli alfredo.

i read julie's blog when she was just first getting known and i didn't like the cussing, so i stopped reading and keeping tabs. did the cussing make it to the movie? i hope not.

4-hour roast chicken last night, with Costco falafel baked in the drippings . broiled tomatoes with garlic/scallions/olive oil/s&p. leftover baked trout from the night before, turned into an omelette with garlic/onions/tomatoes. oh and yes, the kids asked for biscuits to finish up the frozen leftover sausage gravy from a couple of weeks ago. they STILL didn't finish it.
