Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have so many recipes for dinner that require my time from 5-6pm. Will any of you please post crockpot recipes that are one step in the morning or afternoon and then you're done. Thank you.

Here is our family's all time crock pot favorite:

Italian Crock Pot Chicken

4 Tbsp. butter
1 envelope dry Italian dressing mix
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
4 oz. package cream cheese, slightly melted

Melt butter; pour over chicken in crock pot. Sprinkle with dry Italian dressing mix. Cover and cook for 4 hours. Blend soup and cream cheese, pour over chicken. Cook additional ½ hours. Serve over rice.

You could begin this in the morning and let it cook all day on low. (BTW, I usually only use 1/2 of the dressing mix)

8 oz. Sour Cream

Place frozen chicken breasts in crockpot. Mix all other ingredients and pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hrs. Serve over brown rice or egg noodles.

I'll come back with a fav, Robina! The crock pot is so wonderful.....I used it SO MUCH a few years ago, when there was NO WAY I could spend time in the kitchen between 4-5 pm with all the littles! I made most things the night before.
