Ladies I am now home with all our strawberries ! I have the pectin now ! I am ready to make some jam and was thinking along with plain strawberry can I also make rhubarb strawberry jam ? We often make strawberry rhubarb pie , so can we do the same for jam ?
what do you think ?
I've a ton of rhubarb still freshly cut not frozen yet , made rhubarb cake last night .
ideas for strawberry 7 rhubarb seperate or together would be great

oh yummm .... strawberry rhubarb jam was my favorite growing up! you're making me nostalgic ... rhubarb doesn't grow out here.

shoots. it just occurred to me you might be asking for recipes. sorry, I don't have any handy, but they must be out there. my mom made some chunkier for her and dad (bigger pieces of rhubarb and strawberries) and smoother for those of us who didn't like strings in our jam.

I never ever thought I'd hear myself say " I wish I had more rhubarb " but it happened for the first time this summer and I've two big patches !
