Tonight various children have a lacrosse party, swim practice and babysitting gig. I think I'll take the one guy I'll have with me to Subway for dinner. Or there are leftovers.

My car is in the shop so I'm grounded today. Roast beef, baked potatoes, veggies, and that fruit salad.

Tonight is bbq at a friend's home. Their daughter is 14 today (she is exactly two months older than my dd). So it is a party.
Jenn, it is not *that fruit salad* is it? Wish I were there to help you finish it up.

Grilling out pork chops tonight.Which reminds me I'd better pull them out of the freezer to thaw!I think we'll grill some veggies to go along-summer squash, peppers, onions, and corn on the cob.

Soup...I love how frugal, etc, it is to make soup the day after we have a crock pot chicken, but I need to come up with a more summery alternative! <--that's me over a hot soup bowl in 80+ degree weather. I don't think my kids would go for cold soup...

Weekend before last dh made chicken fricassee outside in his big cast iron pot. We froze half of it.
Since we'll be at the ballpark this evening and dh has a parish council meeting at church it's the perfect night to take it out and reheat w/ a pot of rice.
Also, fresh cucumbers from the garden.

I wanted to have turkey sausage baked ziti from the Sugar Solution cookbook, but I can't get ahold of my sister to get the recipe.
Anyone have any ideas for what to do with spinach/cheese/chicken sausage?

Here's a yummy looking one: Neely's baked ziti
Basically I just googled: baked ziti turkey sausage spinach and got a bunch of choices. I look for ones with lots of stars.
