Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Wow it's almost noon my time and I just realizied I had not started this thread, I actually hadn't even given dinner a whole lot of thought. Glad I finally remembered. Dh won't be home for dinner, dd is babysitting, ds's have lacrosse, so I'm thinking something easy. Maybe chicken nuggets while watching American Idol.

I put a roast in the slow cooker this morning. Passed by it an hour later.

It was unplugged...

Glad I caught it early.

Added: Fresh snap beans from the garden
Buttered corn
Rice and gravy
Cooked sweet carrots
Cantaloupe

Cay, that sounds so much like me!
We are fixing to sit down to a chicken fajita feast. Homemade salsa, homemade tortillas, guacamole, rice and beans, sauteed peppers and onions. And all the trimmings on the side.

Sounds yum!

We're having handmade pasta with chicken alfredo sauce with a salad.
