Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I came across these very timely articles about pantry use and long-term food storage - which then continues with homemade bread baking and healthier (and less expensive) food choices for families. Today's Catholic Woman - In The Kitchen

The recent threads here on bread making, sources for wheat and whole/real foods have piqued my interest and this series of articles seem to be a good practical starter course to put it all together.

Thanks for this link. The information looks like it will be helpful. My husband and I have been trying to get a long term food storage in place and these articles come at a perfect time for us.
