Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

How do you get the mud stains out of the white polyester baseball pants? It's my son's first year playing tball and he loves to slide! I've sprayed them and soaked them in oxiclean overnight as soon as we've gotten home--but they're still stained. I'm afraid to bleach them--will it turn them yellowish? I also tried laying them out in the sun to try to "bleach" them--but no luck.

Thanks in advance!

Ugh! Whose idea was it to wear white?! As a coach's wife I always push for gray pants.

Oxyclean is your best bet, but it can take days.

Good luck!

I've dealt with white football and baseball pants. as long of a soak in oxyclean is the best, in as small of a container as possible. (I use a smallish round bucket and just squish them in there)
bleach, at least on the synthetic fabrics I deal with, DOES turn them yellow and I think really weakens the pants.
Do you think us moms were jumping up and down last summer when the football coach announced we were going to "Penn State plain"???
have fun!!

I had to use Fels Naptha last year to get red clay and Gatorade (gotta love "snacks") out of baseball pants. It worked really, really well. I couldn't believe it.
