I am at a loss as to how to teach my kids to really clean. I was wondering if there is some sort of instructional video that perhaps I could use with them. I know the Clean Team has a speed cleaning one, but I heard it was pretty dull.

If not a video, a kid-friendly cleaning book, ala Martha Stewart for kids, maybe?

I can't remember if I watched this one years ago from the library or not--Don Aslett's "Is There Life After Housework?". He has a book by the same title. I've enjoyed reading many of his books--he tries to be very funny and practical about things. It's rather "old" (1986 I think). Not sure if that would turn the kids off or crack them up

This is one area I really struggle with. I know how to do it but don't have the time, patience, ability to break it down for them!

Thanks goodness this is the one area that DH excels in. He is the one that usually coaches them on how to do a chore.
