Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The Crafty Crow lead me to this link
for making your own fabric boxes/baskets.

I made one yesterday- SO EASY. Turned out so cute- I even went wild and added a handle to mine. The possibilities with this one are really endless...
think of all the cute fabric you could use, turn them into Easter baskets, line three up on a shelf for a Pottery Barn look... and so ridiculously easy and fun to make.

I filled up mine with some of the birds I made using the free Spool pattern and am giving it as a gift. Next up is making a set in the froggy fabric my dd loves for her room.

Can you tell I'm excited about this?

Those are just adorable! Quick question though. Do the triangles come together to make the bottom? I am having the worst time visualizing it.

Thanks!

yes they do Kelly.. if you look closely at the picture of the seperate inside box and outside box before they're put together.. you can see the seam on the corner of the inside box going underneath.

coolness!

I just thrifted a whole bunch of nice brandy-new upholstery weight fabric last week and was wondering what I should use it for... Thrift stores are great sources of fabric for things like this!

thank you!

God love you!
