Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm thinking I might pick up a rotisserie chicken at CostCo today. I'll turn it into greek chicken pita sandwiches. Today is one of those crazy days, orthodontist, swimming, and my parents arrive tonight......I am glad there is no CGS today.

We're in a quandry too. We don't have enough leftovers for dinner but people will be in and out tonight to pick up their GS cookies so we can't run to the commissary and the cupboards are bare. I guess it will be Chinese?

I am trying a new crock pot pork roast recipe. It has a curried chutney sauce. Haven't picked sides yet - probably something that tastes good with sauce, like potatoes...

Burgers and fries - it's grocery shopping day, and I need something quick.

Thick cut pork chops on the grill and TWO sides of asparagus as the commissary had green and white asparagus at the same price - taste test time! I've never had white asparagus as it's usually too, too expensive so I'm pretty excited. We'll probably have mashed potatoes as well and a radish/cucumber relish plate on the table, all were on good sales today.

Ham and penne, which is far more fabulous than the name suggests. Think parmesan cheese sauce. I would make it more often if it wouldn't kill us.

I made a salad, and ate three grapefruit because they are SO good. The kid had grapes and made faces at my grapefruit. More for me. Mwahahahaaha.

I Marcelle Bienvenu.
Have almost all of her books.

We had a simple pot of spaghetti tonight.

I ended up making a beef stroganov type of thingy with pasta and a salad. My little one settled down round lunch time. Poor guy... he's teething.

Our pork roast was incredibly good. Here is the recipe:

Slow Cooker Chutney Pork Loin

I used about 2 tablespoons of chutney and the rest was Apricot Simply Fruit preserves. I used a boneless pork shoulder.

This is so easy...and it's so good I would serve it to company!
