Tonight I am planning on making homemade mac and cheese, brocoli and salad.
The boys made themselves bacon and egg sandwiches for breakfast. I'm hoping there are some leftovers around for lunch.

I wish my kids ate mac and cheese!!! I would love to have an excuse to make some!
We are having homemade garlic chicken pizza and veggie sticks which is our standard Wednesday night meal since we use to have piano and fencing both but now, we only have piano and I am wondering how our new schedule is going to change my menu plans.

I think I will try a skillet lasagne meal. Not sure it will go well with anyone but DH and I, but we'll try.

We're doing tacos with friends tonight after she and I pick up Girl Scout cookies. We are each the cookie mom for our troopsand we thought this would make the beginning of cookie madness more fun. (No GS cookies on the menu though.)

Very easy.

Just reminding you, Rachel. Can you spell S-A-M-O-A-S?
I'm making old fashioned vegetable soup, which is actually beef and vegetable. My MIL makes this, and I was surprised the first time to have a bowl in front of me called "Vegetable Soup" but it had meat.
After ransacking my cookbooks, it's common at least to have a soup bone to make the soup, so some menus say "Vegetarian Vegetable Soup" to explain the difference.
A few weeks ago a woman approached me at the meat counter, asking me if I've ever made Vegetable Soup. I replied yes, then she asked what kind of meat does it use? So I showed her some stew meat and soup bones and chuck. She said she had been asking dozens of people and I was the first to know what she was talking about.
And that's thanks to my MIL and her Pennsylvania cooking.

My plans have changed, due to unforeseen circumstances...I didn't make it to the grocery store recently. So, I found some chicken thighs, with onions, garlic, and carrots with mashed potatoes.
Smells yummy!

My husband wanted chicken and cream cheese enchiladas and I got him to agree to taco salad instead before he left for work. Much less labor intensive. Then...he called from work and asked "what is the Peterboro basket thing on the debit card statement?" . I'm making enchiladas...

That is too funny, Elizabeth!
I hope your husband enjoys the enchiladas as much as you enjoy your basket!!
The bean soup was good...I never quite got around to the biscuits...there's always breakfast, right?
