Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This may be a silly question. We need new pillows. Kevin and I are getting old, we need more comfort. I have always just bought cheap pillows but Kevin wants me to look for higher quality pillows that retain their shape and support longer.

There is quite a range of pillows out there! Anyone have a favorite brand, style or source to recommend?

I told you this was a silly question, but when I shop for pillows I am overwhelmed by the choices!

Some of it is personal choice. Generally a side-sleeper needs a firmer pillow than a back sleeper (to keep their head up and in line)

And that's about all I know about it.. most of our pillows are cheap ones

A couple of years ago dh and I, as well as ds, got new temperapedic pillows that are kind of moulded into a shape, like a hill and valley sort of thing. By experimenting with different ways to turn them, etc., to find the most comfortable position, we were very pleased at how much better our necks and shoulders felt in the morning -- and we hadn't even realized we were uncomfortable before! Some of them came from Costco and others from Ikea; they are becoming easier to find more recently. Might be something you want to consider.

Peace,
Nancy
