Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Where do you get your beads and medals? I went to Michael's and AC Moore and was not able to find coordinating beads- spacers- for a Rosary I'm hoping to make for our priest.

Hey Ruth,

I am planning a trip to Tyson's Corner to hit the bead store there. I want to finish up a Rosary for my parents. There is also a bead store in Vienna that is nice. There is a very small bead store around the corner from the Paschal Lamb in Fairfax. There must be a bead store down your way.   I have bought all my centers and crucifixes from Alice Cantrell Gardens of Grace

Hopefully, you will get some more responses. I have looked at some mail order bead places and just get overwhelmed. I will be reading this with interest.

We order ours from Rosary Shop -- haven't compared prices. And dd-17 orders from Fire Mountain Gems for general jewelry-making needs, but they have a more limited selection of Rosary parts.

Ruth - Abby and I have been researching making chaplets and rosaries. Anne has been very helpful. Abby did a guest post on my blog Making Chaplets which has some resources I think.

(PS sorry I could not call back - we just got back from the children's Christmas piano recital)

Thanks, Mary Chris. Yes, there is a bead store down my way, but I have a precious baby girl who HATES being in a vehicle and is such an intavert, that going out overwhelms her and so we don't leave the house much. I was going to attemp the bead store after 4 dentist appointments on Tuesday, but that trip was way too much for her and I had to go straight home. She cried until 10 o'clock that night. I'd rather do my shopping on line. I do my grocery shopping after 7 am Mass on Monday mornings while she's still in bed.

I'll have to try Alice Cantrell's Gardens of Grace I have not heard of this. Thank you!

Stef and Marilyn, I'm going to look into those likns you posted sometime today.

Please keep those resources coming!
