Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm trying to create a pinata with paper mache and suddenly remembered I can't do the flour water mixture, because of very bad wheat allergies.

So does anyone have a tried and true gluten/wheat free paper mache recipe they can share?

Could you thin Elmers glue? Or use a decoupage paste like Mod Podge (is that the right name?)?

I hope you find something! We really enjoy making papier mache lanterns.

Cornstarch, Jenn? This is how my mom used to make glue back home (for papier mache and other things). Sometimes we used arrowroot instead of cornstarch, but I don't know if that would make it too cost prohibitive here.
