Here's a great book, I'm sure it's been mentioned before, that I just finished reading and think it well worth posting about: Life Skills for Kids: Equipping your child for the real world by Christine Field. She left her career as a lawyer to stay home with her kids to homeschool them ... and this is the result of how she has taught her kids to exist in today's world.

This book is great as it covers responsibility, people skills, home skills, time management, fixing and maintaining the home, money skills, healthy habits, training the brain, etc. She writes from a Christian world-view with an eye toward sending our kids out into the world either for more schooling or for working.

What great life skills books have you found?

It looks great so Garrett (15yr) and I will work through it this year.
