Help! One of our white surplices has a pinhole burn right in the center of the front. I've tried normal stain removal products. Even though it says not to bleach it, I did put just a dot of bleach (from a bleach pen), but that didn't work either. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Could you possibly dab a little "White-Out" on the spot to disguise it? Another idea...borrow a small snip of fabric from the inside of the hem and mend the spot with a tiny patch of the same fabric and very fine stitches. You might even be able to simply stitch over the hole with a few well placed stitches of matching thread and not even have to use fabric for patching it.

One consolation, a pinhole spot will not be noticable to anyone else.

Have you used Bar Keeper's Friend?It's mainly for sinks and such,but on the label it states that it can be used for rust stains.So maybe it would work for the burn.I used it on clothes before,and never had any problems with it.

White-out might just be the trick! Thank you, Servant and Nina, for your recommendations.

You know, you'd think no one would notice, but the church office actually brought it to my attention! I was very surprised that anyone noticed--I never would have. I'm certain the servers and public would never in a million years notice, but the office wants me to fix it so I'll give it a shot. Of white-out!
