Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Is it possibe to take any pants pattern and turn the pants into bloomers. I have not been able to find a pattern for size 8-10 bloomers without buying a whole historical costume pattern?

Thanks, Valerie

Really simple pants like sweat or pj bottoms would work. Also did you check Halloween costume patterns? Annie

I did this with dd. I couldnt find any in a 6 so I took a loose wide knee length shorts pattern (cut from a pair of old shorts not an actual pattern )and added and elastic in the casing at the bottom hem.

She really likes them so if you have a pattern go for it.

You can just add a row of lace/ribbon at the bottom instead of elastic for a "pantaloon" dd like this too.
