Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A friend just gave me a dress with a tear in it. It is a jumper with a tank style top. Right above the breast area is almost a scissor type cut from the outside toward the inside about 1 1/2 inches. Should I just zigzag across it and then cover it with something? It is such a cute dress for my dd I was hoping to salvage it. Any ideas?

I would zig zag it closed with material behind it to reinforce then sew a cute patch or applique over the area. Fabric paint might also work depending on size and texture. Annie
