Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My neighbors gave us a shelving unit that is ventilated and wire. The kind you use in the garage. It is very long, and I'd like to bring it inside the house. I'd also like to line the shelves so that small items don't fall through AND would like some kind of solution for the open ends so that I can use the shelves as bookcases, also.

So, any experience in converting wire shelving to bookcasing? TIA. (Sorry I don't have a picture. I looked through the Sam's Club site and couldn't quite find it. It's something that looks like it belongs in a garage or other heavy duty storage area.)

well if you can get boards to lay on the wire shelving.. it would be easy enough to attach short boards on the ends to hold in books.

extend the flat board clear to the edges of the shelf and the end boards down a bit and it would keep them from sliding off. And they boards could be painted or stained to look nice.
