Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just wanted to share that I have been having so much fun sewing with the polar fleece I bought (on sale) from JoAnns.I've been making lots and lots of fuzzy pants and this week I got carried away and from the leftover scraps I made a fun elf hat for my littlest!

Anyway, I just wanted to encourage anyone who is just a rank beginner like myself and may be holding back that this type of stuff really is easy and doable!
I just winged it (as usual) for this one, but I'd love to attempt some more fun winter hats for the rest of my kids. Does anyone have some great, easy fleece hat tutorials to share?

You did a great job on the hat, you should do a tutorial. I love the embroidered snowflake!

Thanks! Did I mention it has 3 jingle bells attached to the tip? I am just having too much fun with this stuff!
Btw: I found a simple tutorial on Martha Stewart.com
And a cute fleece/felt combo here
And some more here and here and a similar one here.
This is the simplest one yet and I think even a small child could do it. I may try this with JBug.
And as a bonus, here is a cute fleece poncho!
Happy sewing!
