Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I wanted to recommend my favorite First Crochet Book. It's called Kid's Crochet by Kelli Ronci. She has done projects for magazines like Martha Stewart and Martha Stewart Kids. In the book, she teaches the beginner crocheter how to do the single crochet, and with that she teaches such techniques as ribbing, increasing, decreasing, crochet in the round, switching colors etc. Projects include bags, balls, dolls, circular pillow, a cupcake pincushion, quilt and pillow made from triangles and even a sweater. This book got me "hooked" on crochet. I know girls of all ages will enjoy it; it's a beauty. kellironci.com

Many Blessings,

Elizabeth
