Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm knitting a cardigan for my 9 yo dd. The pattern calls for a DK weight 100% cotton. I am thinking it is gonna be too stiff?? I thought about a cotton/linen blend like this but I've never used it. What would you use? I need like 15 50g balls, so no Debbie Bliss please .

Kathleen

So, before I looked at your link, I went to my favorite online source, and they were one and the same. I have not used the CotLin, but I have heard good things about it, and I have been happy with the other yarns I've gotten from them.

Kathleen -- I've not used the CotLin yet, but I do love all the yarns I've gotten from KnitPicks. I was going to suggest Lion Brand's Cotton-Ease or Coat&Clark's CottonPlus which are washable -- which would be a big plus in my house -- but may be too heavy for what you want ....

Bottom line, try the KnitPicks!
