Cathy,
Would you post your gluten-free peanut butter ball recipe?

Elizabeth we usually use almond butter! can you do any nuts? any will work.
I dont follow a recipie exactly but about 2-1 nut butter to some sort of powder- dry milk, soy milk, powdered sugar, powdered xylitiol...whatever you can use and add honey until it is a soft non sticky dough.
Its so funny about my name...the "Cath" in Cathincoffeland comes from my email addy/private blog- Catholic in Coffeeland. Way back when i couldnt fit it all in when i registered and it got shortened. I get called Cathy a lot now...dh teases that it is my "secret agent name"
Maggie
btw check back in on thursday or so for gluten free "locusts!"

So, Colleen called you "Monica" and I called you "Cathy" and then I asked another stupid question. I need to stop posting before noon.
I'm so sorry. I KNEW your name was Maggie because I read Colleen's post...
I'll try almond butter...

Thank-you for your St. Monica prayer board idea. We made ours during our Monday afternoon 4real learning craft time.
We will be making some St John the Baptist's heads soon. The kids are really looking forward to these!

Here's a converation I didn't anitcipate when we decided to use the edible for tea time:
After noon mass in the vestibule of church:
Brendan: Father, you're wearing blood!
Father: Huh?
Brendan: You're wearing the red blood of the martyrs today!
Father (smiling): Ummm, yes....
Gabriel: And we're having St. John's heads for tea!
Father: Ummmmm....
Gabriel: Don't worry, they're peanut butter flavored!
ME: Have a nice afternoon, Father...
