I hope I'm not being annoying with my skirt posts.
Here's another one I made:

That is a lovely skirt! Was the fabric printed along the border or did you embroider the decorations?
An *aside* - please tell us about your sandals. They look really nice.
Peace,
Nancy

It was already printed that way. I hesitated about making it into a skirt - I was afraid they might look too much like curtains -but it turned out to be a good choice.

Oh those are the ones I got recently to help me with my foot problem. I like them. They are very comfortable.

Donna Marie that's what Oxy is for! I spilled cranberry juice down my front last night and as of this morning my skirt is clean and white again.

Hi Michele,
You mentioned on your blog that there are plenty of skirt patterns out there like yours. I haven't been having luck finding them these days. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?
Thank you!

Just thought I would link some skirts I made for my dd. I used Simplicity #8550. I plan to make more for my other girls.

Michele, I just checked out your blog, On Pins and Needles and am totally inspired to start sewing clothes again. Currently I have been bitten by the quilting bug. Those twirling skirts you made for your daughters are what really have me jazzed. You are so right when you say, What little girl wouldn't want a twirling dress? I think my two girls would love one...next week.
