Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Ladies , I'm trying to find some info on making wings for fairy & angel dolls .
I was making them out of pipecleaners and felt then sewing lace around the borders of the wings .
Although this looks very nice it took me forver handsewing it . Are there any easy wing patterns or instructions out there ? How about books ?
Thanks . Much Love , Roxie

Roz,

Another thing you can try is wire-edged ribbon -- fold two ends to the center (for however big you want the wings) and scrunch the center together and wrap with thread or wire to hold the "scrunch" .... wire-edged ribbon comes in all different sizes, colors and materials so that should keep you busy for a while....

I've done this for kid-sized fairy wings; perhaps it would work for dolls? Bend wire into the wing shape, cover with old pantyhose (white or off white works well). Decorate with glitter, fabric paint, spray paint, beads, sequins, whatever.
