i know they are traditionally for little girls but dd really likes those cross-back pinafore/smock things
and she wants bloomers instead of bike shorts for under her dresses.
any one have directions/pictures of how to make them?
i cant find any patterns for her size.

And if you check out your local Hancocks and JoAnns fabric stores, you can sometimes get the patterns for $.99 each....

Sense & Sensibility have a beautiful pattern for little girl’s pinafore and pantaloons! I haven't tried this one, but I have used others and they are very high quality and well thought out....you won't be disappointed. The creator of this patter is available for help if needed too!

I have the Sense and Sensability pattern myself but haven't made it either. Folkwear also has some great patterns also; I have the child's pinafore pattern on my sewing table, getting ready to try it!

she probably wears a five -she is small but will be 6 this summer - im not sure as we have been buying larger size clothes to get a modest fit.

that sense and sensibiltiy site is lovely but im not sure if my sewing is good enough!

these patterns are very easy. i have all of the sizes and they are what i use for my girls. i do add a puff sleeve to the dress. you can fancy them up with eyelet or lace if you wish. overall a " very easy to sew lots of them" pattern. i have made MANY
