Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I drank it from the beginning of the 2nd trimester on, increasing amounts as I went until I was drinking quite a lot by the end. It's supposed to help strengthen your uterus, and I do feel that my labor was way more efficient the second time around. Hard to know if that was from the tea or not, but it didn't hurt!

Yes it's safe. Some might say it's not safe in the first trimester but many say it's fine, just depends on who you want to trust on that one. I've used it full pregnancy (I even know that some prenatals have it in them).

I prefer it in a tincture since I don't like drinking tea that much.

If you want to drink it as tea, you can get it fairly cheaply at herbalcom.com as loose leaf.

Oh and not only is it good for strengthening the uterus but it also helps normalize hormones so that you feel less controlled by emotion (not that it doesn't still happen but it helps) and it's very good for you in that it's high in several good for you vitamins, I'd have to look up which to be sure but I think iron and vit K in particular. (btw alfalfa is an excellent way to boost your iron if you need that)

Is it just as beneficial in the capsule form? I'm not a big fan of the tea, so I've been taking the capsules.
