Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

After all these years, I've finally realized that the nightshade family (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers) cause inflammation for me.

Potatoes and peppers I can adjust, but tomatoes are devastating for me.

I'm wondering -- crazy thought -- but is there possibly a way to lessen inflammation from these foods if you do eat them?

When I was younger I was allergic to tomatoes, and I'm just wondering if this is just one of those things that remains a sensitivity.

Jenn

When my ds16 was a baby, tomatoes caused him to break out in bleeding eczema. As a teen he now can eat them and tomato products although.... you now have me wondering, are they contributing to his acne!

Standard thought is sometimes a good break from a food can then allow you to re-introduce. btw we've been having good success with ds able to have tolerate some foods if he is on a course of excellent liquid pro-biotics.

Jennifer,

I don't have an answer, but a question. How do you react?
Tomatoes have always given me a hard time, but less so when they are cooked.

Blessings,
Stephanie
