I'm a week late and I know I'm not expecting, having abstained for the past month. I miscarried 2 months ago with a normal cycle since. I've also had a slight odeurless discharge. But I'm only 36!!! Could I be starting menopause already? Has anyone else had this experience and it turned out to be something else? TIA

It's probably not menopause. Almost every woman has an irregular (longer or shorter by a week or two or even three) cycle now and then for no particular reason. As long as you don't have any other symptoms - pain, fever, heavy bleeding or continuous spotting, a foul smelling discharge or unexpected changes in your skin, hair or weight - it's nothing to worry about. If you have more than 2 or 3 cycles a year that are less than 21 days or more than 40 days, however, you should probably see the doctor.

I'm sorry for your loss . . . miscarriages are so hard to understand.
