Ds is freshman in college - has a bad cold, Very stuffy but also running and nasal drip thing going on. Anyway, he has a big calculus test tonight at 8:00 - question is - WHAT IS THE BEST OVER THE COUNTER COLD MEDICINE THAT WILL HELP UNCLOG HIS HEAD AND HELP DECREASE RUNNINESS WITHOUT MAKING HIM SLEEPY!   He's going to call back by 12:00.

I'd think pretty much any *daytime* formula cold and flu stuff.. store brand cause it's cheaper.. would work.

Just be sure it'd "non drowsy" or "daytime". If he's having trouble.. have him ask the pharmacist.. they're usually quite helpful even with OTC.

This is late but I always find that regular nasal spray gives good relief without sleepiness or side effects. He shouldn't use it more that 3 days but gosh it's a huge help when you need to get your head cleared.
