Hi tradmom and cvbmom,
I forgot all about this thread! Unfortunately, it didn't do anything to my veins. At least I shouldn't be out the money, the jar is on its way back. However, I must say, that my body tends to react (or not react, as the case may be)weird to things. So, just because it didn't work for me, doesn't necessarily mean it won't for anyone else.

Has anyone used castor oil on thier varicose veins? I felt it was incredibly healing for me. My sil with severe VV recommended it............it helped her a lot.

Do you just apply it right on the veins? Did it get rid of the veins totally? I haven't heard of that.
Another thing I have heard of that's supposed to help but haven't tried is a tea:
2-3 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
2-3 Tbsp grated lemon peel
1 Tbsp honey
and 6-10 C Hot H2O in a large teapot. Drink this throughout the day for...I'm not sure how long actually.  Till they improve, I guess.
