I want to buy the sunscreen and bug spray mixed. I am wondering if any one if has used a particular one or knows the differences. How safe is it for kids?

most bug sprays are not terribly safe.. blech..the one I use is a lemon eucalyptus spray (strong smell but works as well as the ones with lower levels of DEET without the chemical) but it isn't mixed into a sunscreen.
I'm annoyed with sunscreens at the moment.. they used to have great sprays with a pump.. worked nicely.. now their all some sort of misting aerosol thing and any breeze will blow it away and it's really hard to get it on evenly and enough.. seen more people with blochy burns with that stuff.. but no one does the pump bottles now. When I'm trying to get many children covered with sunscreen for swim meets etc.. the sprays are so much nicer than the lotions.

I find that both the pumps and the sprays stop working way before we empty the container! I am looking for that convenience of two products in one. I do have the lemon eucalyptus repellant. It is just so much spraying and rubbing!

I don't tend to need to use both products at the same time.. rarely are the bugs out when the sunscreen is needed.
Oh and since you asked I went looking over at drugstore.com and it looks like bullfrog has a regular spray rather than the mists though there was one hawaiian tropics I think that was a spray bottle look (with the trigger rather than the finger pump)
I need ones that are waterproof too.. with swim team I'd be forever reapplying sunscreen otherwise.
Oh, did you know sunscreen will go on better if you use a regular lotion first? it'll spread out and use less because the dry skin absorbs the regular lotion.. and then the sunscreen will spread evenly.
