Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've been worrying about an ache or pain I've been having and so I thought I would post to see if anybody had any ideas of what it might be. My sides hurt. Sometimes it migrates a little around towards the back but not all the way. Sometimes it's only one side, sometimes it's both sides. It doesn't seem to be predictable either -- like right after eating. Sometimes it's during the day, sometimes during the night. I think it started happening when I was pregnant with the last baby so it's been going on for almost two years. It's not constant and doesn't bother me all the time. It comes and goes.

Any ideas? I'm at a loss!

the only thing of can think of is kidneys? maybe kidney stones? My daughter who has kidney issues always has pain in her sides...

my sides hurts badly when my gallbladder was messing up...which started during pregnancy. I never had stones, it just stopped working like it should, and got sludgy - but I never had the typical "shoulder pain" that is usually associated in gallbaldder. It was all in my sides, and sometimes in my back on the left (not the right where the gb actaully is... ).

So did you both have your gall bladders removed? My husband just had his taken out. Surgery scares me to death!

I did, eventually. Not sure if I'd recommend it, though - hpwever, a low fat diet just din't help and my pain did get worse so that is why we went the surgery route. After about five years. Prayers for you!
