Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

So...I ordered some beauty products based on a book's recommendation.   Really I just ordered some samples--cleanser, toner, moisturizer, etc. I love them. They are great and the ingredients are totally natural. I happened to read on the info. sheet that these products are, "Reiki-energized." I don't know a lot about reiki, but I do know that I would never seek such a thing for healing. I know it's, "New Agey" and people seek so-called Reiki masters for healing.

My question is, do I chuck them and forget about it because of a possible weird spiritual connection? Or, do I use the products--because they are really great, mind you-- and ignore the Reiki part of it?

Here is the link to the website...which looks a little weird...but check out the online store and tell me what you think.

Thanks ladies,
DeAnn

Don't ignore the Reiki connection it is occultic. Reiki-energized is really a nice name for occultic powers of some sort. My suggestion is send the products back or better still, throw them in the bin.

Upon reading the info from the link, I really recognise that flowery health language as a poor disguise for acknowledging a false god (which is really the devil in disguise) words like:

"Simply Divine Botanicals"

"The name of the line comes from the happenstance that made a dream of creating pure potions into a reality beyond scientific imagination."

"One night in an act of Divine Intervention"

"In loving service to the Light, Barbara."

Yep...that's what I was looking for. I don't want to freak out about every little New Age reference when it comes to, "natural" products; but at the same time I don't want to bring something into my house that has connections to the occult.

Thanks so much.
